CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) is the online notification system made mandatory by the EU Cosmetics Regulation No1223/2009

as of July 11th, 2013. Any cosmetic product must be notified on CPNP before being placed on the EU market.

The CPNP notification requires a series of tests : microbial test, stability test, safety test, packaging compatibility test.

Due to its rigid process, many cosmetic companies have not completed the CPNP notification.
