The formula of the serum is like I expected light. It actually absorbs really fast and leaves and is non-sticky finish like it claims to. Due to its light texture, I would recommend it to all skin types and all four seasons. Texture wise, it reminds me a lot of the Hada Labo Moist Lotion. One of the things that I really like about this product is, that it free from fragrance and alcohol. It seems like a good product for sensitive skin types. Personally, I have combination skin, oily nose and dry cheeks. Furthermore, the ingredients are like the name of the product already suggests the high content of cacao extract which is supposed to provide strong moisture and nutritive benefits. It does not only contain cacao extract but also ingredients such as cacao seed, cacao flower and hyaluronic acid. This serum is supposed to balance your oil-water balance and nourish the skin. I would say it does a very good job at hydrating my skin. I can easily spread it on my face and I don’t need more than 2-3 drops, but I’m not a huge fan of the pipette. I prefer a pump. On the other hand, I love the design of the bottle. It is very chic and clean. The size of the serum is quite small with 30ml, so I feel like I will finish it quickly. Maybe a bigger size option for the future?
