Comes in a white lightweight plastic bottle with tightly sealed flip cap. The hole for dispensing the powder is too big which I’m not a fan of. It can get messy and I always end up pouring too much.
Texture & scent
It truly is powder! I was so impressed by how fine this powder is and as soon as the water makes contact with it, it completely dissolves and bubbles up into a silky foam. There’s no grittiness or graininess when I’m working this onto my skin which I really like. It doesn’t smell anything strong to be honest. At most it has light scent of calamine.
This is my first time trying out a powder wash and my experience has been nothing but great! This cleanser offered a really enjoyable cleansing experience that did not upset my sensitive skin. This doesn’t really bubble that much but it lathers really nice onto the skin, rinses away cleanly without any film or residue. I love that my skin feels so refreshed, soft and clean whenever I use this.
In terms of reducing redness, the difference wasn't immediately noticeable just by looking at the mirror, but when I compared my before and after photos (8 days apart), I realized that it did reduced redness around my nose and some on my cheeks. The redness has faded, and the skin has become calmer.
This cleanser is also formulated with vegetable enzymes and what’s great about this is that it’s super-duper mild. I wouldn’t say that it’s exfoliating because I didn’t noticed that at all, instead I noticed that it gently softens my skin which makes sense because it helps to release the dead cells so that it can be washed away but in an incredibly gentle manner.
Overall, I would recommend this powder wash to all skin types. It is super gentle. If you're looking for a cleanser to help with redness and sensitivity, this is an excellent option.
